FOR THE LIFE YOU SHARE
Different clocks.
One little intersection.
Sometimes called a dog lap day, your same-age moment is where two timelines meet. Let’s see whether yours is ahead, behind, or happening now.
Just between you and your pet
Two ages.
One shared story.
Add your ages to see how your story unfolds.
A little time travel
Drag to watch both of you grow. Ages use the same human-year scale, not a lifespan countdown.

How do we calculate a same-age day?
Let your current age be h, your pet’s actual age be p, and the chart conversion be F. We look for elapsed time t where F(p + t) = h + t. Your pet does not catch a frozen version of your age: both of you keep growing.
For example, if you are 30 and your cat is 2, you both reach about 32 human years in two years. If you are 30 and your cat is 5, your same-age moment was about two years ago, when both ages were about 28.
Does every pet have a lap day?
No. Sometimes called a dog lap day, a same-age moment may be in the past, today or in the future. We only consider times when both of you have been born and the chart applies. There may be no crossing within that range. Our solver can also represent several crossings or an interval of matching ages for future model types.
